Bike@the Moon complete

The pack of dingbells totaled 50 as we headed west from Titletown Brewery. Nice mix of clunkers and cruisers. Ride what you got, one rider said. Smooth street ride out to Pamperin park added 1 rider to pack as he was out riding and hooked up. PP trail was very dark. Perfect. The traditional "round up" preceded the big hill to Legends, THAT WAS CLOSED!!*#??. Then onto the Medowbrook trail, which was perfect. It is about there that the skidding started, and would last the rest of the ride....everyone was doing it. Sprint, slam the brakes, skid. Fat retro cruisers worked best. Since Legends was CLOSED!!#*^, we went to dive biker bar Kims on Velp, and were treated like the royalty we were. Harley guys were out checking our rides out!! It was awesome. Actually, it's a nice place right on the duck creek. Look for ice rides starting there this winter. On ride back in to downtown, the full moon came out of the clouds. Howling good time, man. Thanks all who suffered the hours of no sleep for this PERFECT clunker ride. I know there are some sore throats out there....

Bike @ the Moon

August 16..full moon saturday. 10:38pm.
Bike @ the Moon...Green Bays annual night time bicycle prowl and howl
This years ride will start at Leicht Park / Titletown Brewery on GB's west bank of the Fox River. Parking at the park, or across the street at the Museum. A white light in front and minimum red reflector required for all vehicles. Pace will be appropriate for clunkers and singlespeeds (unicycles?) but make sure your ride is sound, as repairs in the dark are a bummer. Distance will be under 20 miles. Various prizes awarded.
