there is a need

Went on a group ride here yesterday morning. 1000 riders, two different starts, met downtown and rode to the capitol together. Talking to the riders here we have identified that "clunker club" is welcome and wanted here. There was a very eclectic group on this ride. Lots of fixies, a high wheeler, a 36" unicycle, sme guy on a chopper HIGH bike, about a 1/2 dozen recumbents, (even a trike like ours), some very high end roadies, (wow), kids, tag-a-longs, and lots of commuters.  And on a tuesday!! We will publish the dates we decide on for the CCC and the CCC. Hope you'z in GB thaw out soon. Its gonna be in the 70s this weekend.

Mike and Pams last GB clunk for awhile will be this wednesday, 11th, at Titletown Brewery. 7-10? Ride could happen before, during, or after this get together. A "committee" was formed last wednesday to take over the dis-organizing of the CCC (late april/early may) and the CCC (sweetest day). Dale, Todd and Tammy, Johny and Ellen, & Coolie thoughtd ""They'd"" be able put it together. No Problem, Mon!! You can do it!-bybicycles.

two more clunks

As we head out of town, we'd like to get together and ride with you again. Pam and I will be at The Daily Buzz this wednesday, Feb 4, at 7pm. Next wednesday the 11th, we will be at Titletown Brewery for food and drink. I will be riding there, and going our for a ride during and/or after both gigs. Its been a blast clunking with you'all, and hope these ride keep going in GB. They will continue in Decatur GA, where we are moving on the 13th.....

Valentines day is when Pam and Mike will be packed up and moving to year round clunker nirvana. From DePere to Decatur.....We're thinking one more clunk before we go...what'dya say!!

Hey clunker riders - Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Its been a tough season for cycling since our last ride. Marty and I are well on our way to moving to Atlanta this February.

We are going to keep our big clunker rides going in Atlanta proper, and  hope that the clunks keep happening here. This blog will continue to be "out there" for all to use, and we will be creating a clunker club for Georgia blog, should you decide to visit ATL. It is a wonderful city to cycle in, even though it is ranked 48th in the nation for cycling. Wisconsin is ranked #2! I would think that the month of December we just had was not a consideration in these rankings. We will be cancelling our "new.rr.com " accounts in January, and will keep you all advised of our new email addresses as soon as we know. They will probably be "gmail" accounts. Ride on
