CCC errors and 666

Yo - the clunker email list is crashing on me?? Hopefully you get this update of remaining rides this year. This friday, hollow-weenie night prowl at 6:66pm from the Daily Buzz. 2 hour/1 stop tour of all things goulish. Front light/rear reflector minimum requirements for bicycle illumination. Nov 22 is a full day of cycling. The I'd rather ride my bike than deer hunt ride is is that morning from St Norbert college area, then that night there's a pub crawl from Voyaguer Park @ 8pm. Last year we rode into one of the stops! Now, back to working on the clunker list email........argh

CM/hollow-weeine ride

We have done this ride on and off the last 18 years.....this year it falls on a critical mass friday, so we bring back the hollow-weenie this halloween, October 31, starting at 6:66 pm from the Daily Buzz downtown, in the Bellin bldg. This can be a clunker, but anything the rolls will be allowed, keeping with the critical mass theme. Distance undetermined, but travel thru graveyards, goulish 'hoods, and one "stop"?? Cosutmes ""strongly!!"" encouraged......discuss

Chocolate Clunker update

CCC is on sweetest day, Saturday October 18. 10 am roll out from KaVarna. 15 mile, three hour tour. Significant other friendly pace....meaning slow, or parade pace. Carbon Fiber and racing bikes will be ridiculed. Bonus attractions during ride will be the WEIRD sprint, slow ride, skid off, and the traditional "round-up". Ride is free, but riders are encouraged to purchase the sweet stuff at our stops, Seroogys/Kaaps/Beerntsens, in that order. Fox River Trail pass not needed, as we will not ride it this year. Tune up your ride the day before to ensure we have no issues on our route. FOR SURE, check tires for cuts and proper inflation. Make sure brakes work. Lube chain. Tighten anything added to frame, including wheels. Questions?

Make Willy Wonka proud

The annual chocolate clunker is quik'ly approaching....as always, we follow the WW&CF movie for motivation. Brush up on your oompa loompa songs. We will accept characters from either movie. Which one do you like best?? WHAT, you never saw those movies? Any cyclist will be allowed to ride, but the goal is to have 100% clunker, classic, cruiser, etc.....spread the mocha....more to follow
